repeat after me: THE COMIC, NOT THE MOVIE. THE COMIC... NOT THE MOVIE.
the movie and the cartoon series (Rob Paulsen was SO miscast in that) totally missed the point by applying 'cartoon logic' to everything instead of just Big Head here. in the comics, he's a cartoony guy, but everything else is just normal, so if he hits you with a mallet, bye bye head! they shoulda upped the rating and made it more true to the comics.

aah.. I can live without the movie, I think. it was okay, I guess, but I'd rather watch the Tex Avery cartoons it ripped off.

Try "paid homage to" or perhaps "brought back to the public imagination", but whatever.

I agree with you about poor Rob ... and I do need to get my hands on those comics. That having been said, you did a great job with him, here.

I was just flipping through your gallery and noticed this piece, I was abig fan of the old Mask comics when I was yonger and I have to agree with you there, the film and cartoon did spoil them but at lest there was some violence in it right ^___^.

Anywho, fantastic piece, I just love how you threw in your own to the character to make him seam more wacky and funky then he already is =D!! *favs the drawing*

it was going to be a horror movie I heard they they felt it woudln't fly. I know it woudlv'e been a hit. Great adaptation, looks true to the comics. Gotta love Dark Horse.
